Privacy Policy

AmplifyOps LLC ("AmplifyOps," "we," "us") is based in Fresno, California. This policy describes what information we collect through the amplifyops.org website and the Operational Systems Diagnostic, and how we use it. We've written it to describe how our systems actually work, in plain language.
Information collected through the contact form
When you submit the contact form on our contact page, we collect the details you enter: your name, organization (optional), email address, your message, and your confirmation that we may contact you about your inquiry.
Information collected through the Operational Systems Diagnostic
When you save your diagnostic results, we collect:
- Your answers and results. Your responses to the six questions, along with the scores and results calculated from them (your pillar scores, total score, operating stage, and the priorities, findings, and recommendations identified from your answers), the version of the diagnostic that produced them, the date and time you saved them, and a randomly generated submission ID used to keep a submission's data together. These answers describe your organization's operations; the diagnostic does not ask for information about you personally.
- Contact details. Saving your results is optional. When you save them, we collect the details you enter: your email address and, if provided, your organization type, organization size, and location.
- Technical information. Like most website hosts, the services that run our site keep standard server logs, which can include IP addresses. Results saved with an earlier version of the diagnostic also included your browser's user-agent string (which identifies your browser and operating system type).
The website does not use accounts, advertising trackers, or analytics cookies, and we have not added any cookie-setting scripts of our own.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries sent through the contact form.
- To save your diagnostic submission, provide your results through the website, and follow up about them if you choose to share contact information.
- To improve the Operational Systems Diagnostic and other AmplifyOps services, evaluate and develop new products and features, conduct research, create benchmarks, and develop generalized operational insights — using diagnostic information only after it has been de-identified or aggregated, as described in the next section.
We do not currently sell users' contact information.
How we use de-identified and aggregated diagnostic information
We may use information derived from diagnostic responses after it has been de-identified, including by removing direct identifiers and taking reasonable steps to reduce the likelihood that the information can be linked to a specific respondent or organization, or combined with other responses to improve the Operational Systems Diagnostic and other AmplifyOps services, evaluate and develop new products and features, create benchmarks, and develop generalized insights about operational practices and patterns. We may also use de-identified or aggregated information to conduct research.
We do not use de-identified or aggregated information to identify you or your organization, and we do not publish benchmarks or insights that are reasonably capable of identifying an individual respondent or organization. De-identification is not the same as perfect anonymity, so we also avoid presenting data in ways that could reasonably identify a specific person or organization.
Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they process data as part of providing those services under their own terms:
- Netlify hosts the website and processes contact form submissions.
- Google (Google Apps Script and Google Sheets) receives and stores saved diagnostic submissions. The site also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting font files from Google's servers.
Retention
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described above. We have not set fixed retention periods yet; if you would like information you submitted to be deleted, contact us using the email below and we will handle reasonable requests.

Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to how we collect or use information, we will update this page and its effective date. The version posted here is the current one.
